The film “Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon” is based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, one of the four great classic novels of China, which takes place during the country’s darkest period of internal strife and division. Set between 190 and 280 AD, it follows the story of Zhao Zilong, an ordinary man who becomes a hero known for his courage and superior skills in the fight for unity and peace in his divided country. Despite winning many battles and becoming a legendary figure, the war continues unabated. In his later years, Zhao, a brave warrior, struggles to lead his troops to victory in the final and most challenging battle against his enemies, both within and outside.
