American Neil meets a beautiful and cheerful woman named Marina during his trip to Paris. They fall in love and decide they don’t want to part ways. When it’s time for Neil to return to America, Marina decides to leave her life behind and move to America with him. However, they soon realize they are far from their passionate days in Paris. During this time, Neil meets his childhood love Jane. After weighing his feelings for both women for a few days, Neil chooses Jane and leaves Marina alone in this foreign country. Feeling increasingly isolated and revisiting feelings of love, commitment, betrayal, and sacrifice in her life, Marina begins to question her beliefs and seeks support from Priest Quintana. Marina and Quintana will wonder if love, love, and another love will come to an end in their long conversations… Starring Rachel McAdams, Ben Affleck, Javier Bardem, and Olga Kurylenko, the film is directed by Terrence Malick.
