Top Gun 1986
Carefree navy pilot Pete Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is sent to Miramar Naval Air Station for advanced training. There, he competes with Tom Kasansky (Val Kilmer) for the prestigious “Top Gun” award. During his downtime, he engages in a romance with civilian consultant Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis). Shaken by the death of a friend, Mitchell loses the Top Gun honor to Kasansky. He is given one last chance to reclaim his honor. Directed by Tony Scott, the 1986 American film Top Gun is an action-packed drama starring Tom Cruise.
