The Storm Chasers led by the beautiful and brave Jo investigate the sudden tornadoes and storms appearing in various parts of America, developing systems to warn people. Former member Bill, who has given up on this exciting quest, is about to marry a woman completely opposite of Jo, his old love. The group asks for Bill’s help in throwing a tank filled with sensitive sensors called Dorothy into a tornado. When Jo, Bill, and the other members of the group are caught in a storm, they risk their lives and do everything they can to complete their mission. Former cinematographer Jan De Bont, famous for Speed Trap, created this special effects masterpiece from Michael Crichton’s screenplay. The film also broke records by grossing $41 million in its first week in the United States.
