Twixt 2011
A fallen career writer (Kilmer) finds himself in the middle of a murder mystery involving a young girl while on a book tour to promote a book written by a writer who wrote himself in a small town where this murder mystery is about losing yourself. Coppola’s Twixt, inspired by a dream, is said to have a structure reminiscent of Hawthorne and Poe’s stories.
