In the future, towards the end of the 21st century, humanity begins to mutate due to a dangerous virus. Those affected by the virus become faster, smarter, more durable, and agile than normal humans. A war for dominance between normal humans and the mutated beings ensues. Meanwhile, the Government orders the killing of a 9-year-old child deemed a threat to humanity. Violet, a woman infected with the virus, believes the child is innocent and embarks on a great struggle.
