Volcano 1997
A previously unknown volcano becomes active in Los Angeles. The cosmopolitan city is unprepared for such a disaster, leaving its residents feeling isolated and vulnerable. As the volcano threatens the entire city, Mike Roark, the head of the Los Angeles Natural Disaster Bureau, must rally support from those around him to mitigate the effects of the catastrophe. Unable to reach his own family, he is plagued by worry. Starring Tommy Lee Jones and Anne Heche, Volcano is one of the most expensive films of its time, directed by Mick Jackson, who also directed The Bodyguard.
