We Need to Talk About Kevin 2011

Eva decides to put her career plans on hold and have a baby when she is pregnant with Kevin in her youth. However, the sacrifice that the mother brings to her son unfortunately begins to affect Kevin’s life in the wrong direction from childhood. When Kevin turns 15, he starts hanging out with school gangs and getting involved in events that no one would approve of. Eva begins to wonder where she went wrong, feeling a deep sense of responsibility and guilt for her son’s mistakes. Meanwhile, Kevin is forced to reunite with his estranged father… The film, considered by critics as Tilda Swinton’s best performance, features John C. Reilly and young actor Ezra Miller. Adapted from Lionel Shriver’s novel by Lynn Ramsay and Rory Kinnear, the film is directed by Ramsay. Kevin from Let’s Talk, which has not yet had a release date in our country, competed for the Palme d’Or at the 64th Cannes Film Festival’s feature film competition section and received full marks.
