Weekend at Bernie’s 1989
Larry Wilson and Richard Parker are two young men working at an insurance company. One works hard, while the other tries to climb the corporate ladder by pleasing their boss. One day, they discover that there is about 2 million dollars missing from their accounts and they alert their boss, Bernie Lomax, about this serious shortage. Bernie, in order to prevent his theft from being uncovered, decides to kill the two employees. He invites them to his beach house for a short weekend getaway to execute his plan. Meanwhile, Bernie’s girlfriend is involved with a mob boss who is planning to kill him. When Larry and Richard arrive at the luxurious beach house, they are in for a big surprise: their boss has been murdered! To avoid being implicated in the murder, Bernie pretends to still be alive and continues the story..
