What Doesn’t Kill You 2008
Brian (Mark Ruffalo) and Paulie (Ethan Hawke) are childhood friends who grew up as brothers in the back streets of Boston. They start committing small crimes at a very young age and as they get older, their crimes become more serious. As they start to carve out a place for themselves in the underground world, they begin working for gangster Pat Kelly (Brian Goodman). As they find success in the underworld and get lost in the world of drugs, Brian starts to feel guilty about disappointing his beloved wife (Amanda Peet). Caught between two different worlds, events will soon force Brian to make a difficult choice.
