White Boy Rick 2018
The movie White Boy Rick, set in 1980s Detroit, revolves around the peak of the crack cocaine epidemic and drug war. It tells the tragic and true story of Rick Wershe, a young boy who becomes a drug dealer and a secret police informant, only to be abandoned later on by his father, a blue-collar worker. Directed by Yann Demange, the 2018 American film stars Matthew McConaughey in the lead role.
