Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? 1966
George, a history professor at New England University, is married to Martha, an alcoholic who is the daughter of the school’s director. Martha tells George that she has invited a newlywed couple, Nick and Honey, over for drinks. What seems like a normal evening at first may turn into an interesting experience for both couples. The old man is very angry with his wife for planning this invitation, and he will do whatever it takes not to provoke her. When the young couple arrives, they start by talking about their daily lives to get to know each other. But as the night falls and tensions rise, a purging session begins where both couples will reveal all their secrets.
