17-year-old beauty Marie finds herself caught in a web of lies and meaninglessness after meeting and getting to know Elena, a new arrival at school. Things heat up in Blue Bay, Florida. Elena is nothing but trouble. She mocks Marie’s wealth and cruelly flirts with Marie’s stepfather. When Elena falsely accuses Jay of rape to extort money from him, she catches the attention of Kirsten, who is campaigning to educate students about rape in schools. Instead of letting Jay go after taking priceless diamonds belonging to him, Elena continues with the rape case. Elena, Marie, and police officer Chad are all involved in this scheme.
