Famous academics Dr. Julian Reed and Barbara Sullivan are in love and obsessed with the idea of creating a primitive human from ancient DNA. Despite objections from the university’s administrators, the couple decides to pursue their dreams and successfully create a caveman named William who had roamed the Earth 35,000 years ago. As William tries to understand his surroundings and adapt, his different way of thinking and physical features lead to him being ostracized. This situation causes fear and panic in William, who will strive to find love in this big, bad world.
