Mike Flaherty, a lawyer who has lost his courage and hopes, also volunteers as a wrestling coach at a high school. In a shady move to support his family, he crosses paths with a very talented wrestling athlete in a questionable case. Just as this job will provide two incomes, the athlete’s drug-rehabilitating mother appears penniless and becomes a threat to the strange arrangement they have built.
