Woman in Gold 2015
Maria Altmann, a Jewish woman living in the capital of Austria, Vienna, is forced to leave her home after the Nazi siege following the start of World War II. After spending 60 years away from her country, Maria decides to return to Vienna with a very valid reason. The reason for her return is to reclaim a valuable inheritance left by the Nazis and most importantly, the painting of her beloved aunt painted by Gustav Klimt. Now nearing 80 years old, Maria embarks on a journey to Austria with a young lawyer who doesn’t have much experience by her side.
